Dance recital and weekend fun

Audri had her first of two dance recitals on Friday night. The second will be on June 6 at 2pm if anyone's interested. It is a really good show, cute parts, funny parts, talented parts. Audri does 3 dances and there's about 5 other classes that do theirs. There's some Daddy/daughter dances that are really sweet and some skits by the teachers/helpers too. Let me know if you'd like to come and I'll get tickets for you.

We also got our fence finished up yesterday. Jose just has to put some ties on it to finish it up. We ended up hiring a neighbor down the road who's done it before and had all the equipment. He did a great job. He worked Monday through Thursday for a few hours each and then all day Friday and Saturday, with Jose helping on Saturday. It looks great and it's already allowed so much more freedom and safety for the kids and dog. We BBQd yesterday and fed our neighbor and my parents and brother stopped over too. Jose got motivated from helping with that and is now working on other outdoor projects today while I do laundry, clean and my homework. We've got a busy month coming up with birthday parties and such, so hopefully we can keep up!
Isabelle had her 18 month check up on Wednesday. Our pediatrician was impressed with her walking and how far she's come in her 18 months of life. She gave me the number to a GI specialist so we can begin pursuing a diagnosis of celiac disease or an allergy, sensitivity. We're not in a hurry to do this because she's been on the diet for so long and it's working for her, but eventually we will look into it. Other then that, growing well and got one shot. No big news which I always appreciate; no news is good news in this case.

Hair and Make up

Ballerina bun - took awhile and a lot of hair spray/bobby pins with her thick layered hair

Audri's first dance. She's on your far left. Video ability on our camera isn't the greatest. This is in the ballet shoes.

Audri's second dance. She's in the back behind the tall girl again towards your left! Every once in awhile you'll get a glimpse of her. This one is a tap routine.

Audri is dead center on this one. She told me her teacher said since she learned the dance so well she gets to be in front. I heard they always put the best dancers in front for the others to watch and remember what they need to do and to semi hide the dancers that aren't so great. So Audri was the best on this dance. (And probably one of the worst on tap since she's right behind the tall girl :)-
