Cardiologist

We just got back from the cardiologist -a huge thank you to Shannon for covering for me again this afternoon! The Dr. said her heart size looks normal and they did another echo. Her heart is working well and the PDA has not gotten bigger. It has not gotten smaller either, so we will have to have the procedure to close it. We will schedule this for sometime in October or November. He did say we'd wait until she was 2 the last time we spoke, but he says she's big enough. They like them to be around 22 lbs at least and she is 19 now, so he's sure by fall she'll be big enough. He thought the symptoms she was having could be related more to the asthma/ allergies she's been dealing with but it is not related to the heart. So that made us feel good. She did wonderful the whole afternoon. Never cried the whole hour or so drive in the car, laid still during the echo and smiled, played and babbled the rest of the time. Couldn't have asked for better!
