Skittles is our new family bunny. She is a black and white mini lop. She is well loved already and we are excited to have her. We weren't exactly looking for a rabbit, but Jose raised them as a kid and has wanted to get one for a long time. We are on a website group called Freecycle (everything posted is free) and someone posted that they had to give her away because their daughter was allergic. So they dropped her off Thursday afternoon. She came with food, the cage, bedding and treats - which we did pay her a little for. She only had her for a week and her daughter was just getting too sick from her. She is in our living room right now in her cage. Not sure yet where we want it permanently. Even though she's in a cage it's still messy when she's hopping and kicking stuff around. We do let her out around the house a few times a day for exercise. The kids get a huge kick out of it. And Princess too...she thinks it's a new toy for her. She has tried to bite her a couple times, so we have to watch closely when she's out.

Jose is at a Twin's game with my Dad, brother, and 3 nephews. It's my Grandpa's birthday today and it is something that he would have done, so kinda cool it ended up on the same day. He took the camera with him, so hopefully they'll get some pictures.
We went to a wedding reception last night for a friend from Jose's old job at Parkside daycare. It was a dance and we got some cute pictures, so when I get the camera back I'll work on getting those on here.
