We will be moving to a 3 bedroom apartment in Minnetonka on October 21st! We are excited and terrified all at once. This means getting rid of over half of our things...but that's just it. They're just things. Yesterday in church our pastor talked about a verse in Matthew 19 (can't remember which one) and paraphrased it saying if we cling to things and God decides to take them away then we will have a hard time obeying. It has been a rough few weeks as we try to decide what to get rid of, but yesterday after church we decided to trust. We know that God is with us and even if no one else understands why we made this decision, He does. We are at the brook like Elijah, not understanding God's plan. We are scared and it doesn't make sense, but we trust God and know He has a reason. So we sell some things and give away a lot. Yesterday we had a lot of neighbors over going through our things and taking them to be their own. It was nice to be able to help them; to be able to give.
Jose's job is going well. Mine too. Once we move he will be 8 miles from work and I will be 13 miles. No more 1 hour drive each way! The kids will be in a new school. Isaiah was diagnosed with ADHD and a learning disorder a couple weeks ago. This school is large and has many resources and I'm excited he will get all the help he needs! Lucy went back to the breeders to find a new home and it was very sad. Princess will go to live with my Mom and Roscoe and Toby will come with us to the apartment.
So much change. So scary. Sad. But I trust...
